Compaq 2710p Review
HP reaches high with the light, solid, and versatile Compaq 2710p. Unlike many in its sub-five-pound class, it has power, a full digitizer, and excellent screen performance, just like the X60. Unfortunately, a few design miscues prevent HP’s Tablet from taking the crown.
Compaq 2710p Laptop Reviews:-
Reviews.cnet.com about Compaq 2710p Laptop Review:- A 2-megapixel Webcam sits above the screen, next to a tiny light that pops out right above the screen for typing in the dark. In the center of the keyboard sits the aforementioned ThinkPad-style pointing stick, with two mouse buttons right below the spacebar. We know a lot of people still use pointing sticks, but touch pads have become the default for laptops, and we’ve seen them omitted in only a very small subsection of ultraportable systems for space reasons.
Reghardware.co.uk about Compaq 2710p Laptop Review:- The screen has a resolution of 1280 x 800, which is standard for a laptop of this size. There’s plenty of space to open a couple of windows side by side, and the screen also looks particularly crisp when viewed in portrait orientation. It’s easy to view from angles other than head-on, which is a bonus when doing presentations in tablet mode.
Tabletpcreview.com about Compaq 2710p Laptop Review:- The keyboard on the 2710p has a solid design. It has little flex and the keys are flat, which I personally like because the keys create less noise when typing. The silver keys are easy to read, especially with the bold black lettering. None of the keys are shortened except for the space bar and the function keys on top are pretty small.

Pcworld.com about Compaq 2710p Laptop Review:- Tablet design is good overall. Most of the features, such as the pen silo, the Wi-Fi switch, the fingerprint reader, one of the USB ports, and the attached optical drive, are located at the top. Pressing a side button pops out the WWAN antenna (like a blade in a Swiss army knife) for better reception.
Battery life is outstanding when the notebook is equipped with the additional six-cell slice attachment, lasting just 8 minutes shy of 7 hours in our tests.
