Dell XPS M1530 Review
The Dell XPS M1330’s near-perfect combination of powerful performance, stylish design, and go-anywhere mobility elevated it to one of our favorite notebooks of 2007. Now Dell follows up that gem with the Dell XPS M1530, which packs in everything that we liked about the M1330 (mobile broadband, discrete graphics) and adds a larger display and a Blu-ray drive. In short, the XPS M1530 one-ups its excellent little brother, giving Dell yet another killer machine in its stable.

Dell Laptop Reviews:-
# Dell XPS M1530 Review taken from Notebookreview :- Screen:- Another difference that should be mentioned is that currently the M1530 is offered with only a standard 15.4″ widescreen XGA (1280 x 800) display, while the XPS M1330 has the option for a thinner and more power efficient LED backlit display. Dell says the XPS M1530 should be available next year with different resolution screens … including LED backlight options.
Even though some will be a little put out by the lack of LED backlighting being offered on the M1530 initially, the standard CCFL display is still gorgeously bright and flawless. Plus you get a higher 2.0MP web cam with the standard thicker CCFL screen, whereas with a thinner LED screen only a VGA resolution cam can be fitted.
The screen on our pre-production unit looks flawless from straight on and the horizontal viewing angles are great. Upper vertical viewing angles are good, but colors did begin to invert at lower viewing angles when the screen is tilted back.
# Dell XPS M1530 Review taken from Trustedreviews:- Obviously this version is also wider, measuring 357mm across and 263mm deep. Much to Dell’s credit though, it has resisted the temptation to use this space too liberally, keeping the same size keyboard and layout. Let me just say: this is a very good thing. Anyone who has had the pleasure of using an XPS M1330 will know just how good the keyboard really is, with a near perfect layout, firm and responsive keys and a total lack of any flex, such as that found on cheaper notebooks like the Toshiba U300-134.
# Dell XPS M1530 Review taken from Technews:- A good graphics card, the 8400M or the 8600 GS one, with 256 - 512 MB memory. The RAM will be upto 2GB at 667 Mhz.
The laptop should be out with a blu-ray cum DVD+/- RW option. The Fingerprint reader in this a a good addition to Dell laptops along with their new 2.0 mega pixel web camera.
# Dell XPS M1530 Review taken from Reviews.cnet:- The keyboard tray is brushed silver with black accents and includes touch-sensitive controls for volume and media playback and an eject button for the slot-loading DVD drive. We’ve never been crazy about the slightly tapered keys on Dell’s laptop keyboards, which seem to leave you less typing surface area, because the individual keys are wider at the base than the top. On the plus side, a tiny credit-card remote control sits tucked into the Express Card slot and is a standard feature on XPS laptops.
