Extremetech.com about Dell M1730 Laptop Review:- This is a great notebook. The solid state hard drive is great. Although they ship it with the other drive as the windows drive, I reformatted and installed windows on the solid state drive. Make sure you get a bag big enough!!! One thing I did note: BluRay doesn’t run on battery power, and the battery life isn’t that great. I don’t use it a lot on battery power, but all the same. The backlit keyboard is to die for…. and the screen is aaaawwwwsome. Overclocking to 3.4 ghz did give me a bluescreen, and the fans were in high gear… Maybe I’ll play with that, and see what I can get it to run good on. 2.8 - 3.4 choice in bios.

For example depending on the game you play, it shows a character’s health and life or how many bullets you have left. Also, it shows information about your CPU and RAM utilization, with a countdown timer, stopwatch, and date and time stamps. All of which can be cycled through a button next to the display.
Engadget.com about Dell M1730 Laptop Review:- I have the 1730 and it ran crysis on meduim all across the board 1920×1200. I think it needs new drivers as when sli was enabled I had decreased performance. This could be fixed easily with driver updates. I have the 1730 2.4 duo 4gb O ram running vista. Call of duty 4 my machine eats however on the same rez with everything on high.
