Gateway has released Intel-Based P-172X FX Edition gaming laptop and M-6850FX Edition business laptop with reasonable prices. Also, here you can learn about two budget AMD-based laptops-14.1″T-1628 for $749.99 and 15.4″ M-1626 for $850. All these four laptops arrange HDMI port, and only 3GB of RAM or 4GB of RAM. These two features are impressive, especially on the last two budget laptops.

The P-172X FX’s keys feel sturdy, are well spaced, and have good response; and the keyboard doesn’t dip when you start hitting the keys (except the multimedia shortcut keys) with mounting enthusiasm. Also, Gateway seems to have treated the keys to resist spills and detritus. Even the numeric keypad is large enough to use easily.

The Gateway P172X FX has an Intel Core 2 Duo T8300 2.4GHz processor, 4GB of RAM, a 17-inch WXGA 1920 x 1200 resolution screen and a pair of 160GB HDD for a total of 320GB of storage. Other features of the machine include a slot-load DVD burner, 5-in-1 media reader, 9-cell battery and Intel 802.11n wireless networking. Graphics for the gaming notebook are via NVIDIA GeForce 880M GTS.
