HP Compaq Evo N800v Laptop Reviews:-

Reviewcentre.com about HP Compaq Evo N800v Laptop Review:-Good Points

A true workhorse! Stronger and sturdier than anything else out there! My next laptop will definitely be an HP or Compaq!!
Bad Points

The charging system broke down less than 1 year after purchase, and I have been using the docking system to charge it since. Seems the charging plug was wrong calibre!
The hard disk crashed after 4 years, but it was easily exchanged for a new 80Gb hard drive.

The HP Compaq Evo N800V laptop is the best laptop I have had. I have been carrying it with me since 2003 - so for close to 5 years. It has been used in Scandinavian blizzards and Spanish deserts - not to mention having gained a Euro Bonus level of Gold in air miles.

I use it for my work, which includes Adobe Illustrator, PhotoShop, office and some light programming.

Ciao.co.uk about HP Compaq Evo N800v Laptop Review:- Those who want to use Evo N800v, I would recommend that XP Professional be install. It is great for especially when I connect it to an external server and work from home. The system is sensitve and it supports Netgear wireless very well. I am able to serve the net anytime and anywhere in my apartment wirless. Despite using the laptop for a long time, it does not get heated up quickly. One of the reason was because it is using Intel M chip. That is the great thing of this laptop. Based on its configuration, this laptop could last about two years before any upgrading required. It is suited for those who are doing small business and would want to fully utilize the laptop and yet save pennies!!     hp02

Notebookreview.com about HP Compaq Evo N800v Laptop Review:- I just replaced my desktop at work with this notebook because of travel requirements, and I’m very happy I did. It has all the power and features I need, including running a local Oracle DB, with a form factor that makes it easy to travel with (especially with the 14″ screen). My configuration: P4M, 2.0GHz, 1.0GB, 40GB HD, DVD/CD-RW. While a built-in floppy would be nice, I’d rather save the weight and space by leaving it as an external device, using the CD-RW drive to transfer files instead.
