HP Laptop Reviews:-

# HP Pavilion dv6000t Review is taken from Notebookreview :- To sum up the design (and also to provide a point of reference), my own tastes in notebooks, on a purely visual level, have tended to lean toward Sony, Asus and Apple (though I’d never buy a white or mostly white laptop), but I like the appearance of the dv6000t as much as any from the fore mentioned manufacturers. Judging from the dv6000t’s wide popularity, I’d say other people like the look, as well.

Because of all these favorable impressions I began to look for something wrong with the dv6000t, and turned my attention to build quality. But even there I could find nothing to complain about. Did this notebook seem as solidly built as the old ThinkPad T40 I used to use? No, it didn’t. But the reality is none of the eight or nine consumer and business notebooks I’ve used since the T40 have seemed quite as solid. I normally use a workstation-class notebook, the Dell Precision M65, and while it’s true that the M65 seems somewhat more robust than the dv6000t, the latter notebook is by no means flimsy. There was considerable screen ripple when the LCD lid was pressed very firmly with a finger, indicating some room for lid strengthening, but on the other hand I carried the notebook around with one hand countless times and found no evidence of flex or weakness. In the end, I had only one real issue with this notebook: a higher resolution, such as 1440×900, would have been nice, but only 1280×800 is available. And it did take a fair amount of wiping with a damp, soft cloth to keep the shiny components truly shiny, and free of fingerprints.

# HP Pavilion dv6000t Review is taken from Pcworld :-The standard 6-cell battery disappointed, lasting a brief 2.1 hours in our tests. If battery life is one of your priorities, you’ll do well to upgrade to the 12-cell version for $39 more; with this battery a 2.16-GHz Core Duo T2600-equipped HP Pavilion dv2000t, basically the same notebook with a 14.1-inch screen, worked unplugged for over 7 hours. (The taller battery also makes a nice typing foot.)                                                                    hp0

# HP Pavilion dv6000t Review is taken from Pcmag :- The keyboard is comfortable for extensive typing, and the mouse buttons are extremely quiet. A touchpad disable button comes in handy for, well, disabling the touchpad. As on the dv2000z, there’s a river of illuminating multimedia keys floating above the keyboard, which launches HP’s signature QuickPlay 2.0 (for audio and videos) and gives you access to physical DVD playback controls. The keys are also touch-sensitive, so all you need to do is brush them with your fingers. I love that most Pavilion models come with two headphone ports for sharing. One of those ports also doubles as an SPDIF digital audio port.

# HP Pavilion dv6000t Review is taken from Reviews.cnet :- The HP Pavilion dv6000 offers an average mix of ports for a laptop its size. There are four-pin FireWire, VGA, S-video, and three USB 2.0 ports, as well as a microphone jack and–for those who like to share movies and music with friends–two headphone jacks, one of which supports S/PDIF output. Card slots on the dv6000 read the latest ExpressCards plus MemoryStick, MemoryStick Pro, SecureDigital, MultiMediaCard, and xD formats. Networking options include Ethernet, modem, and 802.11a/b/g Wi-Fi; Bluetooth is available as an option. Also available as an option: a double-layer DVD burner that includes LightScribe, which lets you burn your own labels onto compatible discs.

# HP Pavilion dv6000t Review is taken from Laptoplogic :-  I have a large black blotch that appeared in the lower right corner. Nothing was done to the laptop to damage it. I send it to HP to replace the screen. On the phone they said it was covered, but once they got it they wanted to charge $745 to replace the screen. We tried to elevate our complaint with no response and a few weeks later the laptop was returned to us. I even contacted the HP CEO and he will not respond. I saw a revview on another site that someone had the exact same problem and response from HP.

Do not purchase an HP product if you expect them to stand by their product.
