Lenovo Ideapad Y510 Reviews
The ThinkPad brand is an iconic image in the corporate world, but Lenovo has been absent from the U.S. consumer laptop market—until now. The company’s recently launched the IdeaPad line as its first set of non-business models to debut on these shores. Think of the 15.4-inch IdeaPad Y510 as the ThinkPad T61 Widescreen’s alter ego, albeit with some trendier features, such as a fabric-like cover, a “frameless” widescreen, and five speakers, including a subwoofer.
When is a ThinkPad not a ThinkPad? Don’t twist your brain too hard around this riddle. It’s when Lenovo, a corporate staple, makes a play for the casual laptop buyer, dressing up its solid, well-built systems with some new consumer-friendly features and naming it the 15-inch IdeaPad Y510.
Aside from the textured lid, 4.1 speaker system, and media control buttons, the IdeaPad T510 could almost double as a ThinkPad T61. While the above features give this 15-inch laptop some consumer appeal, some of other additions, such as a facial-recognition log-in screen, seem more at home in a business laptop
The Lenovo IdeaPad Y510 is a solid notebook with some innovative features that deserves close consideration. Lenovo has taken a giant leap from their popular ThinkPad line of business notebooks in an attempt to attract general consumer laptop shoppers. The IdeaPad Y510 isn’t just a cheap ThinkPad in a pretty plastic shell, it’s a unique notebook that has a lot to offer consumers who need a reasonably priced desktop replacement with good multimedia features.
Lenovo Ideapad Y510 Reviews From notebookreview

Cons:
Overly glossy/reflective display
A little heavy compared to competition
Lenovo Ideapad Y510 Reviews from cnet
The good:
Solid construction; reasonably priced; face-recognition software that actually works; decent battery life.
The bad:
Fixed configuration; overly glossy screen; no Bluetooth.
The bottom line:
Lenovo’s entry into the consumer laptop market with the 15-inch IdeaPad Y510 provides ThinkPad-like quality but the design still comes off as a little buttoned-up.

Wow! This is an awesome blog that is related to Laptop Computer Review that there is lots of thinking in our mind whether to buy a used one or brand new. So, the whole process of making laptop reviews and comparisons can become very messy and confusing. I suggest that one must think twice and take advice from friends or other relatives while purchasing a laptop.
